Ghumakkadi Foundation organized an interactive meeting with students from the slum areas of kathputali colony anand parwat. The session focused on introducing the students to the Ghumakkadi Education initiative – an effort aimed at providing accessible, activity-based, and holistic learning opportunities for underprivileged children.
During the meeting, foundation members discussed various topics including the importance of education, career dreams, and personal growth. The students actively participated, shared their aspirations, and showed enthusiasm toward learning.
This initiative reflects Ghumakkadi Foundation’s vision of building a more educated and empowered society, starting from the grassroots.
Ghumakkadi Foundation and Tao Veda NGO Collaborate for Ganga Safai Abhiyan in Rishikesh
Ghumakkadi Foundation, in collaboration with Tao Veda NGO, successfully organized a Ganga Safai Abhiyan (Clean Ganga Campaign) in the holy city of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness about river pollution, promote environmental responsibility, and engage local volunteers, tourists, and youth in cleaning the riverbanks of the Ganga. Volunteers from both organizations actively participated in collecting plastic waste, educating the public, and promoting sustainable practices.
This joint initiative is a strong step toward preserving the sacred Ganga and inspiring collective action for environmental sustainability.
